Works with

What Skills hands to the other apps, and gets back.

It shares one employee record with the rest of the suite. Each hand-off below happens inside Dexta, with no export.

  • Dexta GrowthThe catalogue feeds Growth's competency matrix; levels assessed in Growth come back for the manager to approve; “skills approved” is a KPI.
  • Dexta HubEach person's manager comes from the Hub's reporting line.

Skills inventory

  • My skills

Employees add catalogue skills with a level (beginner, intermediate, advanced, expert) and mark each as primary, secondary or tertiary.

  • Manager verification

The manager (from the Hub's reporting line) approves or rejects with a note. Any edit sends the skill back for approval.

  • Notices

The manager is told when a skill waits for them. The employee is told the decision.

  • Skills catalogue

Admin keeps the master list with categories. It comes with 8 starter skills.

Dashboards

  • Team skills dashboard

Shows the team's approved skills by category, level and bucket, top skills, and pending counts.

  • Company skills dashboard

The same view for the whole company.

Job description match

  • JD match

Paste a JD or upload a PDF or Word file. It finds the catalogue skills the JD asks for and ranks employees by % match.

  • Missing skills per person

Each match lists the skills the person has and the ones they are missing.

  • Only verified skills count

Self-rated skills that are not yet approved don't count toward a match.

  • AI skill extractionOptional: your own AI key

AI reads the JD and catches synonyms and abbreviations, limited to skills in the catalogue. Without a key it uses keyword matching.

Admin

  • People and managers

Managers and roles come from the Hub, with manual set where the Hub doesn't manage them.

  • AI settingsOptional: your own AI key

Turn AI on, store the key encrypted and pick the model.

  • Data protection

See my data, erase, and data export.
