Clock in, apply for leave and see your payslip, from your phone.
Dexta installs from the browser on Android and iPhone. Open your company's Dexta address, add it to the home screen, and it opens like an app, with its own icon and phone notifications.
It's an installable web app, not a store app. There is no listing in the Play Store or the App Store. Nobody needs an app-store account, there's nothing for IT to push to devices, and updates arrive with your Dexta upgrade, not through a store.

Clock in with a location fence
Clock in from the phone, checked against your office's location and radius (200 m by default). Your company decides whether an out-of-fence clock-in is allowed, flagged or refused. Clock-out is never refused.
Dexta Time →An optional selfie
If your company switches it on, a photo at clock-in for your manager and HR to see. It is never used for face recognition, and every look at locations or photos is logged.
Dexta Time →Leave
Apply, cancel, see your balances and history, preview the days, and see which teammates are out.
Dexta Time →Approvals for managers
Approve leave, attendance corrections, overtime and shift swaps from one queue in Time. Each app keeps its own queue, and the Today card links straight to it.
Dexta Time →Payslips and tax
See and download every payslip. Compare the old and new tax regimes side by side, declare investments, upload proofs, and download Form 130 (was Form 16).
Dexta Pay →Notices
Phone notifications, and WhatsApp or SMS for everyone else.
The same notices as the bell in Dexta go to the phones and PCs people allow, and each person picks which kinds they want. Phone notifications need no outside account.
- For staff without a work email: short WhatsApp or SMS alerts such as "payslip ready" or "something to approve"
- Only to people who opt in and confirm their number
- No amounts, PAN or bank details are ever sent
- Quiet hours from 21:00 to 08:00 India time by default
WhatsApp and SMS need your own MSG91, Gupshup or Twilio account, DLT registration for SMS and Meta-approved templates for WhatsApp.
Privacy on the phone
Little kept on the device.
Nothing personal cached
The app keeps an offline page, but nothing personal is stored on the phone.
Sign out everywhere
End every session on every device in one step. A password change does the same.
No tracking of under-18s
Staff under 18 are never location-tracked at clock-in, as the DPDP Act asks.
Installing it
Two taps, no store.
- Open your company's Dexta address in the phone's browser and sign in, with your Microsoft account if your company uses it.
- Add it to the home screen. On Android the browser offers to install it; on iPhone, use Share, then Add to Home Screen in Safari.
- Allow notifications if you want them, and choose which kinds.
