E-invoices and bank feeds
Connect your Masters India account for e-invoices and e-way bills, and Setu for a live bank feed.
Updated 15 October 2026
What you’ll do: connect two outside services so Books can make e-invoices and e-way bills, and read your bank account.
Who can do this: a Company Admin.
Both need your own account: a Masters India account (a GST Suvidha Provider) for e-invoices and e-way bills, and a Setu account for bank feeds.
E-invoices and e-way bills
- In Dexta Books, open Settings and find the Integrations card for e-invoices and e-way bills through your GST Suvidha Provider (GSP).
- Enter your Masters India username and GSP client ID, plus the other details from your Masters India account, and save.
- On an invoice to a registered customer, click Get IRN. Books shows the IRN and the E-invoice QR code. For goods worth over ₹50,000, make the e-way bill from the same invoice.
- To undo, use Cancel IRN or Cancel e-way bill.
Live bank feed
- In Settings, open Getting paid and enter your Setu keys.
- Open Banking and use the Live bank feed for your account.
- Transactions come in for you to match against your entries.
Good to know
- Without these accounts Books still works. On Banking, use Import statement each month (overlapping files are fine). For an e-invoice, get it on the e-invoice portal and record it in Books.
- E-invoices apply once your turnover has passed ₹5 crore in any year since 2017-18.
