Tracking your referrals and bonus
Follow each person you referred from Submitted to Hired, and see where your referral bonus stands, right up to your payslip.
Updated 24 October 2026
What you’ll do: check how your referrals are doing and when your bonus will be paid.
Who can do this: every employee, for the people they referred.
Steps
- In Dexta Refer, open My Referrals. Each row shows the Candidate, the Role, the Status, the Referral bonus and when it was Submitted.
- Read the Status: Submitted, In Review, Shortlisted, Interviewing, Offered, Hired, or Not Selected, Withdrawn or Did Not Join. Under it you see the date it changed.
- Once your candidate is hired, the Referral bonus column shows the amount and where it stands, for example Due on a date, With payroll, In a month’s payroll, and finally Paid with salary.
- Click Resume to download the resume you sent.
Good to know
- Until the recruiter starts reviewing it, you can still Edit or Withdraw a referral.
- The bonus falls due after the waiting period your company sets (90 days after joining unless it changes it). If the person leaves before then, it shows Cancelled.
- If payroll changes the amount, you see the new amount and what it was changed from.
- You get a bell and an email when the stage or the bonus changes.
