Candidates, interviews and offers
Shortlist a candidate, schedule interview rounds, collect the panel's feedback and send an approved offer.
Updated 15 October 2026
What you’ll do: take a candidate from shortlist to an accepted offer.
Who can do this: recruiters run the pipeline. Interviewers give feedback. The hiring manager and HR approve offers.
Steps
- In Dexta HR, open Candidate Pipeline and click Shortlist a Candidate. Fill in who they are, attach the resume, add screening notes, choose the Hiring manager, then click Shortlist candidate.
- On the candidate’s page, under Interviews, click Schedule a round. Set the Round, Date and time, Length (minutes), Where and Interviewers.
- Each interviewer opens My Interviews and clicks Give feedback: Your recommendation, a Rating (1 to 5) and How did it go?, then Save feedback.
- Click Mark completed on the round.
- Click Raise the offer. Fill in the Offered CTC (per annum), Date of joining and Answer by, click Preview letter, then Send for approval.
- Once the hiring manager and HR approve, the offer goes to the candidate. Record their answer with Record: accepted or Record: declined if they reply outside Dexta.
Good to know
- The stages are Shortlisted, Interview, Offer Approval, Offer Sent and Revise or close.
- Revise the offer changes terms; Close candidacy (not hired / withdrawn) ends it.
- Referrals from Dexta Refer arrive here as candidates once a recruiter moves them to In Review.
- The job lives on each candidate. There’s no separate job-openings list.
